BRAND NEW CLASS

What makes Wake The Wild classes unique is that we intentionally combine hands-on STEM learning with the actual experience of the sport. We love taking things the kids are naturally doing out on the track and then diving deeper into the why and how behind them in our STEM labs.

 

Each week will include a 30–40 minute STEM lab where we’ll explore concepts like force, motion, gravity, momentum, balance, speed, and the engineering and design of the bike and track. The goal is to make those concepts tangible—so when they’re pumping through a turn, building speed, balancing on the bike, or hitting a jump, they begin to understand the science that’s actually making it happen.

 

The remainder of the two-hour class will be spent riding. We’ll have several coaches on the track so students can break into smaller groups based on skill level and receive personal instruction, attention, and feedback as they progress. All skill levels are welcome, including complete beginners!
